Registration fees

Early registration – $895 (paid on or before 12 April)

Discount early registration – $805 (paid on or before 12 April)**

Standard registration – $1095 (paid after 12 April)

Discount standard registration – $985 (paid after 12 April)**

Student registration – $295 (proof of full-time student status must be provided)

Discount student registration- $275 (proof of full-time student status must be provided)**

Day registration – $695 (to attend the conference on one nominated day only)

All amounts are in Australian dollars and include GST.

Small businesses have the opportunity to spread their payments over two financial years (refer to further information under ‘Payment methods’ below).

Workshops

Workshop places are only open to conference delegates. Tickets can be purchased during the online registration process. Seminar only workshops are priced at $150; those with a tasting component are priced at $190. Details of the workshop program are available here.

Maurice O’Shea Award Dinner

Monday 22 July, 7-11pm, Adelaide Oval. Tickets can be purchased during the online registration process at the special delegate only price of $199 (non-delegate price $247).

Additional guest tickets to the Networking Function

Tuesday 23 July, 5.30-7.30pm, Trade Exhibition Halls. Additional tickets are available for purchase during the online registration process. (One ticket is included in delegate’s registration fee. Additional guest tickets are $50)

For the first time, the AWITC would like to offer small businesses the opportunity to access a part payment option (two payments, paid over two financial years) for registration fees. Companies wishing to access this option are invited to contact the AWITC Secretariat at [email protected] or on +61 (0)8 8313 6696. Final payment is required by Friday, 5 July 2019.

All prices quoted include a 10% Goods and Services Tax (GST). This tax is applicable to all delegates, irrespective of their domestic address.

Entitlements

The early, standard, student and discount registration fees for the 17th AWITC entitle delegates to the following:

  • entrance to all plenary sessions (workshop attendance is optional and at additional cost)
  • entrance to the Student Forum: In the wine light
  • coffee breaks (on offer between Monday 22 July to Wednesday 24 July)
  • lunch on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
  • one ticket to the Networking Function on Tuesday 23 July, 5:30-7:30pm in the Trade Exhibition Halls (additional tickets can be purchased)
  • AWITC delegate bag
  • access to the conference app
  • access to the technical poster display (Sunday to Wednesday)
  • access to WineTech (the Australian Wine Industry Trade Exhibition) (Monday to Wednesday)
  • conference proceedings distributed to delegates post-conference

Day registration entitles the delegate to:

  • entrance to plenary sessions on the nominated day
  • coffee break/s on the nominated day
  • lunch break on the nominated day
  • entrance to the Student Forum: In the wine light (if Tuesday is the nominated day)
  • one ticket to the Networking Function (if Tuesday is the nominated day)

Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations: Delegates must inform the Conference Secretariat in writing (email [email protected]):

Conference registrations

On or before Friday, 12 April 2019 – A refund of registration fees, less a cancellation fee of $150
On or before Friday, 21 June 2019 – A refund of 50% of fees paid (Student registration – a $150 cancellation fee applies)
After Friday, 21 June 2019 – No refunds

Registered delegates who are unable to attend the conference are welcome to nominate a substitute but must advise the Conference Secretariat in writing.

Refunds will be processed post-conference.

Workshops

Any changes to delegates’ workshop selections will incur a $50 administration fee.
After Friday, 21 June 2019 – No changes or refunds

The organisers of the 17th Australian Wine Industry Technical Conference and WineTech accept no responsibility for loss of monies suffered by delegates or trade exhibitors should the event not proceed due to factors outside the control of the organisers.

By registering for the 17th Australian Wine Industry Technical Conference, you consent to photography, audio recording and/or video recording being used by the organiser to promote future Australian Wine Industry Technical Conference and WineTech events.

The program information is correct at the time of writing; however the conference organisers reserve the right to change the program without notice.

Use of your information

The organisers of the 17th Australian Wine Industry Technical Conference and WineTech will use the information provided to them on the registration form to facilitate attendance at the conference of the person whose details are provided and also to provide this person with access to WineTech.  The person’s name and affiliation will be made available to conference delegates via the conference app. The person’s name and affiliation will be made available to the relevant conference sponsors (unless you indicate otherwise on the registration form).  All information provided on the registration form will be retained on a database and the contact details used to provide information on future conference and trade exhibition events conducted under auspices of the Australian Wine Industry Technical Conference.
