Dr Mardi Longbottom is a Senior Viticulturist at the AWRI. She has more than 20 years of national and international experience in vineyard management, technical viticulture, research, education and extension. For the past eight years, Mardi has focused on wine industry sustainability research and extension projects including the management of corporate water assets, climate risk analyses and benchmarking greenhouse gas emissions from vineyards. She also manages the Australian wine industry’s sustainability program, Entwine Australia. Mardi is a director of ASVO and AGW. Mardi will chair Session 6. Protecting and building better vineyards on Tuesday.
