Corrina Wright has wine – and 179 years of family grapegrowing – flowing through her veins. Described by WBM Magazine as a “legend in the making” and by James Halliday as being part of a “remarkable dynasty” she’s treading a slightly different path among the vines that her forefathers farmed in the Seaview sub-region of McLaren Vale. Corrina graduated from the Len Evans Tutorial in 2005 and chairs a number of wine shows. A Future Leaders graduate, she has represented small winemakers on the Winemakers’ Federation of Australia board and served on the ASVO Board. Corrina is currently part of the organising committee for the Australian Women in Wine Awards. Known for her championing of alternative varieties such as Fiano, Sagrantino, Mencia and Vermentino, she also loves producing Grenache and Shiraz from her family estate. Corrina will chair Session 1. Supply and demand outlook on Monday.
