Sales of exhibition space at the Australian Wine Industry Trade Exhibition (AWITE) to be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre 25-27 July 2016 are already outstripping expectations. Fourteen months out from the wine industry’s most extensive trade exhibition, sales are approximately double that at an equivalent time before the 2013 event.
Held in conjunction with the 16th Australian Wine Industry Technical Conference (AWITC), and organised by Reed Exhibitions, the 2016 edition of AWITE will provide unparalleled access for suppliers to reach the grapegrowers, winemakers and industry professionals who make key purchasing decisions.
The conference, which is a three-yearly highlight on the grape and wine calendar, will continue to present a full program of plenary sessions, workshops, poster displays and networking opportunities, closely tied to the exhibition.
Dr Dan Johnson, Chair of the AWITC&TE said “We are delighted with the excellent early support from wine industry suppliers for the 2016 trade exhibition in Adelaide. The combined conference and trade exhibition is shaping up to be a real highlight of 2016.”
Recent refurbishments at the Adelaide Convention Centre mean that exhibition facilities will be of the highest standard, with much-improved proximity to the plenary presentation space.
Exhibition Director from Reed Exhibitions, Anthony Reed said “Exhibitors will benefit greatly from the new lay-out at the Adelaide Convention Centre, with delegates able to move directly from the trade exhibition to the plenary sessions.”
The AWITC&TE is the largest gathering of grape and wine industry personnel in Australia and is expected to attract more than 1,000 Australian and international conference delegates plus some 1,500 exhibition visitors.
